"We love staying at Casey’s. It is like a home away from home. Staff are always very obliging. Breakfast is excellent and meals in the pub are very nice too. It’s a great location in the middle of the village and our room was very quiet."

"We arrived to find a welcoming fire in the woodburning stove and a lovely country setting. The kitchen was well equipped and bathrooms had basic toiletries. Property has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom upstairs and 1 bedroom plus 1 1/2 baths downstairs.We did not have cell service but wifi was fast. The owners were very kind. If ever in the area again we would not hesitate to stay here."

"Nice facilities, the free cereal and coffee in the kitchen was a nice early morning meal! Beds were nice and the curtains on the bunkers were very useful for privacy and blocking out light."

"Lovely little hotel in a quaint town. We just stayed the one night while doing a bit of a tour around the west coast/Wild Atlantic Way. The food options looked a little restrictive for vegans but the front desk did assure me the chef could have catered for me at brekkie and dinner, we just chose to eat out instead."

"The service was excellent. We had dinner at breakfast and the staff were brilliant. Particularly loved the ladies that looked after us at breakfast. The room was clean and very comfortable. The decor is a little tired in places but did not distract from a very pleasant one night stay. Definitely recommend."
Romantic Castle at Roaring Water Bay in West Cork - Weekend special available

"Four of us (all adults) stayed here for a week in June/July and it was a very special experience. Stephanie's renovation and design work on the property is impressive, and with the exception of a full-sized oven and laundry facilities, you have everything you need there to be comfortable. The castle is beautifully situated high above Roaringwater Bay, and it's an easy drive to all sorts of wonderful West Cork sites. The stairs are tricky, so it's not really a place for kids or anyone with physical challenges, but otherwise I would very highly recommend this to any adventurous travellers looking for a unique stay."
