"The property was beautiful, loved the pool and palm trees. Easy access to everything, UCSB was 8 min. away. The only silly thing was charging to park at the hotel, 20 a night. Loved the air freshener ."
"We ubered here from SBA airport & could walk to many dining options. Ubered back to airport to rent a car to drive to BUR due to a 2 day ground stop at SBA. It was a very stressful 2 days, but Best Western was a positive in it all. Sat in their hottub before bedtime to help me sleep! Lovely garden area!"

"We had an amazing stay at The Ritz-Carlton Bacara. The property is stunning—peaceful, safe, and beautifully maintained. Our room was spacious and super comfortable, with a great bed and luxurious linens. We especially loved how quiet the area was at night, which made it easy to relax and get good sleep.

"This is an older property but well maintained and in an absolutely perfect location. We were able to walk for meals shopping and to the beach easily. The bikes were also great to use for exploring. Staff were gracious and attentive. When we checked out they had already gone to get our car because they recognized us ! The pool is small but well maintained. "The location of this hotel is perfect, especially for the price. Great location, a block from the beach. This is an older hotel (set up like a Motel) but is pretty well updated. However it’s still clearly an older property. The bed needs an update and the pillows were very lumpy and uncomfortable.
However I would definitely stay here again. The staff were really nice and accommodating and you really can’t beat the location. "
