"The location was amazing! Downtown and few steps to ferry. She upgraded our room to higher lever for extra $50. Only one bottle of water for the room. One Elevator and it’s very very slow ( we took the stairs so many times). Breakfast buffet ok for €12 per person. Room spacious but furniture old and bed ok. We booked it for the location and sea view."

"Santa Margherita is beautiful and almost as nice as Sestri Levante. Hotel Laurin sits in a wonderful spot. However, it has no beach and the neighboring beaches are very rocky. (There is no sandy beach for miles.) The hotel will give you a toweland point you in the right direction, but when you get there, you will pay 50 euros for an umbrella and 2 lounge chairs. THE SINGLE BIGGEST DECEPTION IS THE ROOFTOP POOL. They have strategically shot the pool with a wide-angle lens. The "wading pool" is VERY SMALL; too shallow on the small perimeter and too deep in the tiny center to actually use it. Yes, you can enjoy a cocktail by the pool; however, there is no rooftop bar and you will pay a 5 euro delivery fee. Each time. During our stay, the pool was occupied by noisy children, so we left after 20 minutes and never returned. Unfortunately, we booked the Laurin, in part, for the promise of a secluded rooftop pool... If, however, you are coming here for the breakfast? It is fantastic! And the covered balcony is very nice when you retreat from the pool. (Remember to bring your drink, as there is nothing in your fridge but 2 bottles of water.) For Italy, I am informed, the staff was nice. Do not, however, expect a smile. (Tip: The people of nearby Sestri Levante are warm and friendly, the beaches are nice, and the town is beautiful. And if you tire of pasta and shellfish every night? Sestri Levante is home to what is possibly the best Tex-Mex restaurant in all of Italy, Nauroz Tex-Mex.)"

"The hotel was in a great location. We had a junior suite overlooking the water with the most incredible terrace. We took my 10 month old and the hotel and staff was super accommodating and friendly."

"I absolutely love this hotel. I only stayed for one night and I wish I'd stayed for more. The breakfast was beautiful. My room got upgraded which was a nice little surprise. This was Central to everything so it was a great place to stay if you wanna go and visit different places. I'm already thinking about coming again next year. Thank you for a wonderful stay x"

"Lovely hotel just at beginning of Portofino with own beach club and beach access Lovely and super helpful team. Great place to also have dinner in evening or lunch at beach. Nice clean rooms and facilities. 5 min walk to portofino harbour and restaurant Did half day boattrip from there. Will be back Mille Gracie!👍🇮🇹😉"

"having been told aat the last minute our flight was cancelled this hotel was the first avaiable to put us up for an unexpected stay. this hotel was the closet available to Pisa airport and was 17 kilometers away. we were greeted and assissed to our room by a charming lady at reception and food and drink was provided in spite of the late hour. we hada problem with the air conditioning but this was resolved."

"A little oasis on the edge of little bustling Italian town of Rapallo. The room with ocean and pool view was well turned out. Breakfast was excellent as was the restaurant. Handily it has a shuttle service into town. Concierge were great. Reccomend a good restaurant on the water front. They really stepped up helping to rearrange our journey when we came a cropper due to rail strikes."
