"I did not get use of the room as the hotel was locked up despite calling and leaving messages there was no reply . I had the inconvenience of having to travel 12 miles to find another hotel ."

"On arrival had a warm welcome from the staff who asked if we wanted drinks we said yes and that we had booked 2 rooms. We were given our drinks and they would bring the room keys to us in a few minutes. "The property is old but in good condition. The room was clean and had a nice shower. Very quiet location with a pub and decent food and a good breakfast. Plenty of free parking and a large outdoor seating area. Being located in Thornes Park it was nice to take a walk around the grounds. No air conditioning so the room was a little warm, but would definitely stay there again."

Oh and the dedicated parking space just topped it off. Highly recommend this pub as a place to stay. We stayed in room 2 with the queen bed.
