"Our room was very clean, and everything worked properly. I saw a maid mopping the very tidy breakfast area as we were leaving. My main issue with this property was their reservation policy. I had reserved a room with two double beds ahead of time and prepaid through Expedia. I left a message on Expedia that that we would be driving four hours after we got off work and arriving late. After we ate dinner, I called the hotel to tell them that we were still two hours away and were still coming. When we finally arrived, it took about fifteen minutes for us to check-in because they had given our room to someone else. The night clerk had to call to get approval from her boss to get us into a room with a king-size bed and sleeper sofa. My husband said the clerk used the words, “Third Party Reservation “ about twenty times in the conversation. It seems this hotel prioritizes reservations made on their own website. Although the clerk seemed empathetic that we did not get the room we had desired, she did not apologize for giving away our room. I ended up sleeping on the sleeper sofa which had a 3-inch mattress—not the same as a real bed!! I do not believe this was a computer error, but a policy at this hotel. If I know that I will be making a late night arrival, I will now be very hesitant to book it through Expedia. My husband said that if every room would have been taken that he thought the clerk would have told us that the hotel was full and to ask for a refund from Expedia."

"The room was well thought out. They even included a roll of paper towels in the cabinet by the microwave and refrigerator. Always loved the breakfast (waffles!). The staff were friendly and helpful."
