*Note*
June through September are off season for our village. 3 out of the 4 restaurants are closed, the fish market, and local museum are closed. Marco island is minutes away with regular hours of operation during the summer months.
*We are not located ON Marco Island, we are 5 miles on the outskirts of the city, and the beaches.

Little Piece of Heaven

This was a picture perfect cottage in a picture perfect location. Amanda was a great host and very attentive to our needs. If you’re looking for a very relaxing time, this is the place to be. You’re within walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and a marina.

Remote and quiet

This small cottage is off the beaten path, yet very close to the Goodland local restaurants offering delicious meals. It is also only a 15 to 30 minute drive from Marco Islands’ gorgeous beaches with beautiful white sand and plenty of shells for collectors.

Relaxing place

We had a great time at a great location. We could watch the sunrise over the water or just sit by the water & enjoy the view. We could walk to restaurant, fish market & marina. The kitchen is well stocked (pots, pans etc) so it is easy to prepare food.

Nice getaway!

Cute little cottage! Loved the kayaks and spending time on dock watching dolphins. We didn’t know it was a 3 apartment cottage but it all worked out fine! Thanks for your hospitality!!

Best of Both Worlds

I found Goodland to be a quaint & quiet spot - all that’s needed for a brief respite. While it has that remote feeling there’s still plenty of access for water events and shops in Marco are 10-15 minutes away. The host is amazingly responsive to any questions. Booked my calendar for a return visit.

The View!

The easy check in process, the accommodating host, the comfortable bed, the excellent water pressure for showering, the location with easy walking to restaurants but still a quiet residential area, not far from Tigertail beach and wonderful amenities such as kayaking and bicycling would by themselves rate this a 5 star home. Forget all of the above features and just enjoy the beautiful view with dolphins 10 feet off shore, a beautiful sunrise and the quiet lapping of the water and you’ll give this home another 5 star rating.

Great cottage to enjoy water activities

Charming & clean! Perfect location to get to an early morning shelling boat trip. The owner made sure every need was met as well as extra comforts & welcome gifts. The Little Bar is walking distance for an delicious meal .

Fishing Cottage

The property was an old Florida style cottage but completely refurbished - clean and airy with all the amenities needed to prepare and store food. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There was a wonderful view of the water from the back door with a charming small back porch. There was several seating areas near the water and we watched dolphins and birds while drinking coffee in the morning and sipping wine in the evening. There were also kayaks available to tour around the little islands. The hostess was communicative and helped make our stay very enjoyable. We plan to return for another visit.

Beautiful, peaceful cottage & rare location!

This cottage was sparkling clean and contained every amenity we needed. It was 100% as pictured and advertised, communication with the owner was excellent. If you are seeking a quiet, peaceful place to rest and enjoy the beautiful waterfront location, this place is perfect. Limited food and activities on the island but very short drive to all the action of Marco or Naples. We would definitely return!

Perfect in every way!

We loved our time in Goodland and stay at Amanda’s little cottage! Everything was just as shown on VRBO listing. Amanda was very easy to work with and she allowed us to check in early which helped us out. We enjoyed the new fluffy bath towels. Our only disappointment was that Stan’s was closed on Saturday night which we found out when we went over to enjoy music and have a drink!

Very nice, laid back spot to relax. We could walk to bars and restaurants. Great spot on the water for watching wildlife. We even saw dolphins. The check in process went perfectly. Nice owners!
