Welcome to The Dunes Beach House, a relaxed coastal retreat where beach access starts right at the end of the driveway. From the front door, walk through the sand dunes and your toes are in the ocean in just 130 steps (90 metres).

Tucked away at the end of a quiet no-through road directly opposite Kightley Road Reserve, the home sits in a peaceful, private spot with views out towards the hinterland. What makes this location so special is its sheltered position. You can hear the soothing sound of the waves from the house and backyard, but the height of the dunes helps protect the property from the prevailing coastal winds. It gives you the immediate proximity of a beachfront stay with the comfort of a protected, quiet haven all year round.

Inside, youll find a bright and spacious layout designed for uncomplicated holidays. There is a large living room (with wood fire), a separate combined dining and lounge area, and a fully equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher, oven, electric stovetop, microwave and coffee pod machine. Fast fibre NBN Wi-Fi, Netflix, a PlayStation, and a dedicated work-from-home station (featuring a second screen, power supply, and camera) make longer stays and remote work effortless.

For year-round comfort, the main living area and main bedroom feature split-system heating and cooling, complemented by ceiling fans throughout. During the cooler months, you can enjoy the indoor wood combustion fireplace (BYO wood).

This is a home built for making memories with the whole family. Kids are well catered for with books, board games, puzzles, toys, beach equipment (including a surfboard, bodyboards, beach toys, and a handy beach cart), plus a portacot, highchair, and children's tableware.

The garage doubles as an indoor recreation space featuring a table tennis table. Outside, the rear yard offers a covered outdoor entertaining area with a gas barbecue and outdoor dining setting, an outdoor swing set for the kids, and a secure grassed lawn.

When you want to explore beyond the sand, Goolwa and the Fleurieu Peninsula offer plenty to do. Take a ride on the historic Cockle Train to Victor Harbor, explore the Goolwa Wharf Precinct, visit local Sunday markets and wineries, or jump on the Encounter Bikeway for a scenic ride or walk.
