Booked for an overnight stay on the gruelling drive from Melbourne to Brisbane - the town had three weddings on the same weekend, but they were extremely helpful and was able to find a spot for us! The food was also lovely at the bar downstairs :D

It was a comfortable and clean room. Its location in a prime shopping area makes it desirable for short term stays. However, the refrigerator could be upgraded to a more modern one. The plumbing between rooms needs to be reviewed as when my spouse was doing a shower, he heard our next room neighbour using his shower and immediately the hot water in our shower stopped until the neighbour switched off his shower. Walking up the metal stairs from the car park would be difficult for those whose mobility is not perfect. The room could do with a microwave and toaster. All motel rooms these days seem to have these amenities.

Very comfortable and clean. Handy having restaurant downstairs. Perfect place to stay on the way home to Brisbane. Only one thing of note, and that is that the toilet doors open inwards and there is no room to walk in because the toilet is in the way. Otherwise loved it and would definitely stay again

Delicious meals in the bistro downstairs. Room was clean and bed was comfortable but bathroom door was broken. My husband was able to fix the door and the Manager shouted us a round of drinks at the bar which we really appreciated. The beer garden at the pub was beautiful with jasmine flowers everywhere!

We booked a double en suite via expedia. On arrival there was a note posted to the front door to ring the manager. £6 fee to make an international call from a uk phone! Manager answered, gave us a code for the safe. An envelope was inside with our name on we were told to find oir way to the room. No staff were present in the hotel all night. We found our room. Not an ensuite. There was a shared bathroom just down the corridor. There was a qr code on the towels on the bed that was supposed to provide hotel info. We clicked through to it and it was no longer valid. Another £6 call to the manager! We then met another guest who was travelling alone. She had also booked an ensuite and was not given one. She rang the manager who told her she hadnt and her room was the one allocated. We decided it was not worth another £6 phone call to the manager to argue our case. Our room was cleanish. The curtains did not cover the window fully and looked straight out over a flat roof to the street. Anyone could have hopped up and looked into our room as we slept. Shared bathroom was filthy. The only shower had a massive ball of hair blocking the drain. The bathroom with a shower over the bath was full of hairs, had 3 dirty towels on the floor and one behind the door. And also had left over used toiletries scattered across the bath. The restaurant was shut so we were unable to order drinks or meals.The hotel front remained unlocked all night so anyone could have walked in. Very very unsafe.
