"Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The house was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully situated on top of a hill, offering a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere right next to fantastic hiking trails. The hosts were amazing and incredibly accommodating throughout our entire stay, providing a great check-in experience and fast responses to any questions. Old Lyme Pet Friendly Escape | Griswold Preserve + Beach Pass + Fireplace

10/10 Excellent

"The home was very nice and clean. The a/c and appliances all worked well, although we were surprised the refrigerator is very dated in relation to the rest of the house. It served our purposes well and we would definitely return here. We did encounter two issues that should be addressed. 1. The property is specifically advertised as including a beach pass. However, when I inquired about the beach pass upon arrival, I was told there was none. 2. The property was advertised as pet friendly and we brought our golden retriever and golden doodle and it was great to have them with us. What was strange was that on the day of check in I received an email asking for a “pet fee” to be charged to me credit card. When I questioned the fee I was told that there was no fee and the property was pet friendly. Perhaps just miscommunication on both issues, but the owner should look into both. Again, we had a great time and the house fit our needs perfectly, so those two issues should not overshadow the overall experience."
