"Our stay was excellent. This was our second visit and once again did not disappoint. The welcoming as always was pleasant the room comfortable and the staff lovely. We had dinner in the restsurant the nights we were there and the food was far more better than the Hilton . The scenery was stunning and it is so peaceful a great place to unwind and relax.they also have a actives ie fishing shooting,horse riding never done them yet but i think you would have to call then to arrange these actives. The train station is about 10 mins away at Tweedbsnk so Edinburgh was quite easy to get to and from.free parking at the station . A perfect place for a relaxing break.easy beautiful landscape and history. "

"We had a small issue with the self check in as the gate number provided in the email didn't work. I managed to ring the hosts and after a few minutes it was sorted and we were able to gain access. The lodge was very comfortable, nicely decorated and well equipped for a self catering stay. Everything you needed to cook a meal including a microwave oven a fridge and a kettle. I loved the 4 highland cows in the field just outside the lodge, this was partly my reason for booking this accommodation. "

"Cannot say enough how wonderful this hotel is, the bed was so comfortable and had lovely cosy linens on it, the room itself was well done up and had a view of a beautiful clock tower, and the breakfast served was amazing! Our only regret is not eating supper at the restaurant, I’m sure it would have been amazing too!"
