" We were met on arrival with a fabulous basket full of treats and luxury . Fresh milk and local produce to be found in our fridge.We had a lovely stay at Belmont House. The property is exactly as reflected in the photo's. The location is perfect.There is an amazing bakery near by which produced splendid sausage rolls and other bits and bob's.I would definitely recommend this property and will most likely return at some point in the future.Thank you to our lovely hosts."

"This is a beautiful property in an amazing location. We were 8 adults and 7 children aged 2-14 and everyone loved it. The grounds are beautiful to take a walk. Lots of cows which were a big hit with the Los Angeles city kids. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming or friendly. Thank you for helping us make lifetime memories "

"Very friendly welcome and welcome pack. Rural location, so quiet and restorative. Characterful converted barn with nice wood burning stove if necessary. Good location for exploring from Bantry (west) to Cobh (east) but be prepared for a fair amount of driving on country roads. "

"Beautiful view across the sea. Attentive hosts that live nextdoor. Friendly dog and cat. Very quiet lovely nights sleep.Two large bedrooms en suite. Small kitchen come sitting room. Lots of walks near by. Amazing restaurant in union hall. 3 good pubs in leap not too far away. "

"Beautiful home with ample room for two families. We were greeted by the host who took the time to show us around and followed up with us to make sure all was going well. She provided us with milk, cream, coffee and tea which was much appreciated. It is newly remodeled, each room was lovely and well kept. There is outdoor furniture and the lawn rolls down to the sea. We would highly recommend."

"We stayed overnight for a wedding nearby and wish we could have stayed longer. Lovely area, and surroundings. The bar area downstairs is excellent and the room was ideal (slightly dated but everything we needed and we had a nice quiet sleep). I have to leave a note for the Collette in reception, she was able to arrange an early check in, and book a taxi as well as just being lovely to deal with. If im in the area again, this will be my hotel."

"We were attending a wedding locally and asked for early check-in, which they were so accommodating and the staff were so friendly..room was excellent and wished we had more time there! It's a lovely hotel and we will definitely recommend it and we will definitely return for a longer stay the next time..Thank you "
