Top Gotanno Station Hotel Reviews

Hotel Metropolitan Edmont Tokyo
8/10 Good
"Almost perfect! The only downside was the bed was so incredibly hard! Back pain / uncomfortable kept us waking up in the middle of the night. Other than that the staff, hotel, and room was amazing! Location was perfectly near everything and even the metro was a short walk."

Tokyo Dome Hotel
8/10 Good
"Everything was great but Booking the pool and it costing 66 dollars for 3 people over 12 to swim was abit much . And it was uncomfortable with 2 people watching the pool the entire time . 2 men and not being able to attend the pool and watch is also very odd . The actual information is not great for the restaurants in the hotel or what breakfast was or what it cost if you wanted to give it a try . Location is safe and easy for trains but you’ll need to catch two trains to most places . We waited over 20 min for a taxi aswell ended up going on the train with our luggage ."

&Here TOKYO UENO
10/10 Excellent
"family of 4 with 2 teens loved our stay here. close to station if you are coming from Narita airport or flying out from Narita airport. Walking distance to markets. Clean and spacious rooms. Amenities are all there. The coined laundry room machines are available, but the dryer does not dry quickly it would need hours in the dryer. The staff are so helpful. 7/11 and Lawson convenience stores are less than 5 min walk. I just don't like that at night the small streets along the back of the hotel are mostly adult night clubs. Overall, this place is awesome."

APA Hotel & Resort Ryogoku Ekimae Tower
10/10 Excellent
"Was only there one night but regardless had a comfortable stay"

Asakusa Tobu Hotel
8/10 Good
"Great location, you can easily walk to nearby shopping areas, and if you get tired, it’s convenient to go back to the hotel for a rest. The hotel is super clean and quiet, and the bed is very comfortable. The room is cleaned only once every three days, which is a little less frequent than expected. There seemed to be a shortage of staff when I needed help carrying my luggage to the room, so I had to make two trips to bring all my belongings upstairs."

Hotel Niwa Tokyo
8/10 Good
"Staff were very helpful with any issues we encountered. The hotel room was clean but we arrived and found a chair broken. They quickly came up to switch it out. The bathroom is spacious in the three bed room but the layout makes it so that only one person can be in the toilet or in the shower at a time since both glass doors aren’t frosted. The tub also had mold on the wood so we avoided using the wood bath. Location is great to get to the nearest station and had wonderful dinner spots nearby. The restaurants in the hotel are much more expensive for what it’s worth. The shared spaces are wonderful. The laundry room smells very moldy and is 600 yen per load to wash and another for an hour of drying time. Great stay overall minus the few amenities with issues we ran into."

APA Hotel Ueno Hirokoji
10/10 Excellent
"Good area, close to the station, helpful staff with super easy check in and check out."

Sunshine City Prince Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic location. The staff was very friendly, the room was nice and the location is amazing."

Centurion Hotel Ueno
10/10 Excellent
"Walking distance to several train stations, surrounded by restaurants, shops and bars, and absolutely lovely staff. The air conditioning is powerful enough to combat the humidity (September visit), the room was very spacious and the outdoor patio was a nice feature. 10/10 would recommend. They have a supply of toiletries if you need them, like toothbrushes, razors, and hairbrushes, and they provided us with luggage storage after we'd checked out. There are two different buildings, across the street from each other, so remember to check in at the main building if you're in the annex. They also have a family mart konbini attached to the main level, so you can get snacks, drinks, and whatever else you may need right there, and a short walk to beautiful Ueno Park!"
