Room was spotless and and staff were very friendly and polite.
LOVE this hotel and would highly recommend! Very friendly and kind staff, rooms are small but very cozy, clean and well decorated. Breakfast was amazing with even lots of vegan options. Location is great as well. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel!
I loved being in the city center and staying in an old hotel with all the modern conveniences . The staff is kind personable particularly our house keeper on the third floor. She greeted us with a smile each time we saw each other. The woman in the breakfast area had a great attitude and reminded me of my family from Göteborg .Will definitely recommend your hotel to our friends

Lovely hotel and rooms, great breakfast very friendly and helpful staff
Beware. I booked a king city view room only to be lumped in a King room which faced the dirty internal stairway with no light. The hotel staff were very rude saying that this is the room advertised - it was clearly not. The only other city view room they had was a small. We were moved into this room with no offer of a partial refund. Thankfully, after speaking with Expedia, they agreed it was false advertising and refunded our booking.
Location was great but the room itself was disappointing - quite shabby overall and missing elements you’d expect a 4-star hotel to have, like a mini fridge. The staff seemed largely clueless and unhelpful too, aside from the blonde lady on the front desk. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
I had expected more from my stay at Hotel Flora.
It all started before we even arrived. I called the hotel to ask about parking options and was told they had access to a garage and that you could also park along the canal. When I asked what the street parking cost, I got a slightly dismissive response and was told to look it up myself. That surprised me. Parking has to be one of the most common questions hotel guests ask. It would make sense to have that information ready. For reference, it’s 32 SEK per hour between 8 am and 10 pm, Monday to Saturday.
When we got access to the room, the disappointment continued. It felt very bare and uninspiring. The space wasn’t terrible, just dull. A couple of paintings or some simple decor would have made a big difference and created a more welcoming atmosphere.
The biggest issue for me was the cleanliness. As soon as I stepped into the bathroom, I noticed what looked like black mold underneath the mirror. It didn’t look new. If I could spot it within seconds, it’s hard to understand how it had been missed during cleaning. On top of that, the sink was clogged, which made it difficult to wash your hands properly.
The only real positive was the young man working the night shift. He was genuinely friendly and helpful, and he deserves credit for that.
Overall, I would not choose to stay here again.
Es liegt central - perfect für ein kleines Hideaway. Nicht unbedingt für Knieschmerzen, Kinderwagen oder Rollstühle gemacht - überall Treppen. Das Frühstück ist gut, aber nicht außergewöhnlich. All in all eines unserer Lieblingshotels.
