"It was a very convenient stopover for the night on our Sydney-Melbourne road trip. Property was well maintained, We were unsure of the Vegetarian choices available for dinner in the restaurant, hence decided to go elsewhere. The hotel is very well situated close to the exit/entry off the Hume highway."

"Old hotel in the city, but good for the price. We went only a couple of hours to sleep. Bed was comfy, sheets were new so pretty nice! Big size of TV, easy parking access."

"There was actually nothing wrong with the place apart from ‘older’ and showing signs of wear. Everything to the eye seemed clean and fresh. Bedding/towels were fresh! Even an electric blanket Whoohoo! (Window sill in bathroom was dusty/gritty.) There is a restaurant on the premises..which would have been amazing if we didn’t have a big lunch. We thought it was value for money! Initially bit of street noise but not overpowering. The parking was very good..next time I shall make sure to ask for ground floor since my 91y old husband had to navigate several steps to our room. We shall certainly not hesitate to stay there again. It is truly a thumbs up⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"Excellent hstorical cottage to stay in with lovely, welcoming hosts. Walking distance to town centre so you could leave your car at the cottage. Lavenda Parade and activities that weekend was a bonus. Definitely recommend this cosy cottage."
