"The Divani Corfu Palace is than I was expecting. The facade looks a bit like an older motel but inside it’s quite grand. There is furniture everywhere- vast rooms full. Everyone is so nice. Shout out to Michael at the front desk in his Vermeer tie who was especially helpful and kind! I was very happily surprised! "

"We enjoyed a wonderful week at this hotel. Everyone we dealt with made our stay very enjoyable. Andreas & Andreas in reception managed to make it a special week & are a real asset to the hotel. What we particularly liked was: The very friendly welcome & recognition from Andreas who we had been in contact with prior to our arrival The welcome local drink Spacious bedroom with nice balcony Good air conditioning The staff throughout the hotel Hotel location & beach club access offering Extensive buffet breakfast Modern hotel that’s a good size, not too big & not too small Outdoor dining area Beautiful pool & pool area where sunbeds were always available (both in & out of the shade) Great pool food & drinks Expedia VIP member Prosecco, fruit plate & local drink gift in room for our arrival What could make it even better: Bathrooms are very tight in size ( a few bruised elbows!) Pool service could have been more proactive Music nights & Greek nights mentioned in welcome letter weren’t up & running which could have made for a better evening atmosphere Pool food finished at 3pm without warning. Welcome letter said it was available all day. Why not put up a sign at the bar or tell people when last food orders were? "

"While Gouvia is not much to write home about, this hotel and some excellent restaurants in town gave us a great experience. The hotel is lovely, very clean and the staff couldn't be nicer to their guests. It looks like it has been recently renovated extensively. We have found five swimming pools but wouldn't be surprised if there are more. Our room was very spacious and clean. Sheets and towels are changed every day. There is a small supermarket about a minute away from the hotel. Gouvia town centre is less than ten minutes walk away but beware, Gouvia is not very pedestrian friendly and you will have to cross a busy road t the lights near the hotel. There is a bus stop three minutes walk from the hotel and that's where tour busses pick you up. a blue bus number 7 to Corfu town also stops there. We loved Corfu and would definitely go back and stay at this hotel. "
