"We had a great time at Deborah's house in Gov H! The property is perfectly located for exploring all the middle part of the island has to offer, as well as a good driving distance for exploring northern and southern attractions. The house was very comfortable and the views couldn't be beat! We had a great time relaxing in the house and pool and exploring all the nearby beaches! We aren't the strongest swimmers and didn't seem to be home around lower tides so we didn't swim out back but did enjoy watching some local fisherman catch fish (and a shark!) out back. There are tons of great restaurants nearby as well as easy access to groceries and gas. Roads on Eleuthera are rough, as is the road to the house, so definitely get a small SUV/truck - you will need it for any beach you want to visit! The generator came in handy a few times, but most power outages seemed to happen while we were out at the beach anyway!"
