"I have stayed in youth hostels I would rate higher than the Hope Hotel. Shower didn't work, lamp didnt work, toilets didn't flush, music so loud from downstairs till 12.30am that couldn't hear TV and the shower door was rattling. Cabinet was broken and floor was dirty. Asked if could swap rooms and told what did I expect staying in a pub on a Saturday. There were rooms available and the woman was just rude. No sleep, no shower and just crap. The breakfast staff were nice and that the only positive. Wouldn't recommend at all and will share with everyone at our new travel Uk business to avoid at all costs."

"I highly recommend this cottage! Everything was exactly as described — clean, cozy, and very well equipped. It’s a perfect place to relax, whether for a short or longer stay. A big plus is the peaceful location and overall comfort of the place.Special mention goes to Terry — communication was quick, smooth, and very helpful at every stage. "The linen was very fresh and clean smelling, owner very pleasant. The property is undergoing refurbishment, hence the low price. TV didnt work and fridge needed a clean, the loo brush was source of nasty smell. "
