"Beautiful room - we would definitely stay there again. Owner was very helpful and kind. Air conditioning was a plus. The only downfall is that it was a ways from the train station, so figuring out the bus schedule was imperative."

"The room was very clean and the air conditioning was working perfectly. The shower cabin is a bit small, but the hot water comes fast and the shower itself works very well. The bed was very comfortable, I especially liked the two pillows per person, one was more fluffy than the other, therefore they fit most preferences. "La Mezzaluna is a short walk from Barga Gallicano train station, and buses to Lucca. Rita is amazingly hospitable & welcoming, and did so much to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms are very nice, buffet breakfast set us up for the day. There is a bus up to Barga during the day, and a taxi back in evening.If you visit Barga, this is the place to stay. "
