"Really convenient location in Palermo and I felt very safe walking around. Lots of restaurants within close distance and having the cafe next door for breakfast was perfect. All the staff (including at the cafe next door) were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and spacious and perfect for what I needed for my 3 night stay. "

"Communication was great and timely. Easy for Uber to pick us up from the apartment building. Grocery store was a few blocks away. There were a few coffee and pastry shops close by. Not a lot of restaurants nearby but it’s close within driving distance. "

Worst part is i ordered a private room but had to go outside in the closed courtyard down the hall to rhe bsthroom in 40 degree weather at night. "I always choose to stay here. Near Palermo for nightlife and restaurants, but nice and quiet. The area, Villa Crespo, I find safe and it is changing rapidly. Lots of new bars and restaurants. Casa San Jose is a beautiful historic building and the rooms are fitted out beautifully. The rooms are secure, and the kitchenettes perfect to make breakfast. I find it a very calming place to stay."
"What a wonderful property! All the staff were fabulous, kind and professional. The room was quite large with floor to ceiling windows, comfortable bed and great climate control. The area near the hotel was very walkable and safe. Excellent cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. Our only caveat was that the WiFi/internet was very inconsistent. It would drop your connection every few minutes and often the signal could not open most websites or the smart TV in the room. Annoying. The staff said it was not our room but the whole building, including the front desk computer. "
