Great spot for being able to walk just about everywhere in town. It’s quiet, staff is friendly, and it’s pet friendly.

Check in was a breeze. Staff was very friendly. Its a very basic room but has everything you need. Little dated. The room was super hot when we got there and even with the ac on and opened window when it cooled down it stayed warm all night. Good walking location to shops and restaurants. Bonus for being dog friendly.

Not great.

When we walked in, my son said, "it smelled like camp" and he was right. It had an old lodge feel and smell. The rooms were muggy and old. Glad we were only there one night.

The area was nice and quiet. We were able to arrive late without any hassle. They were pet friendly which was perfect for our big guy. The rooms were a little stuffy, but nothing upening a window couldn't fix. Overall, it was a great stay. We would definitely stay again

We had a great time at the BigHorn Lodge! The room was nice and the hotel has character. We especially liked the location which was walkable to the lake and everything downtown. We'd definitely stay there again.

It is a good value for the money and clean. But there wasn't anyone at check in or check out. Our key card was just left on the counter. It was sort of errie.

Great place to stay if you want to enter the park!

This was an older hotel in Grand Lake, CO. We stayed here in order to enter Rocky Mountain National Park early before timed-entry was required.

Upon arrival the lodge looked tired but we were excited and it looked clean. First night a breaker tripped twice. We made sure not to plug and run the refrigerator and microwave at same time and next morning ran just coffee maker. Also the toilet was sluggish. We out and about all day the second morning the toilet stopped up. Went to desk no one just a number posted to call. I called and texted a message. My husband came in he called. After an hour we went to near by hardware store and bought a plugger and worked on it ourselves. No I am sorry nothing. I like to give good reviews especially when the service is good. But I’m afraid this was not the case.

I thought it was perfect. Very close to the park. Didn’t have to drive through town to get to my room. The bed was very comfy hot water. I felt safe had a lot of fun and saw a lot of baby moose:)
