"We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay at this very nice, modern, well-equipped cottage, on a beautiful property, and perfectly quiet lake. My only reservation is that there is only an air conditioning unit in the main floor bedroom, not throughout as the description appears to suggest (however, there are some fans). This proved not to be a big issue for us as the outside temperature was not too hot or humid. The owner was very responsive and helpful on this matter and other minor concerns. "
"Our stay at this property exceeded all expectations! This beautifully maintained waterfront cottage offers stunning views of the St. Lawrence River, with the beach just steps from the door. Inside, the cottage was thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need (and more) for a comfortable and relaxing short-term stay. Its location is ideal for exploring the region in either direction, making it the perfect home base for our trip. We truly enjoyed every moment here and wouldn’t hesitate to return!"
"There was no one to check us in - just a a note - that I couldn’t read because it was only in French - so inconsiderate. When I finally translated the note, it said that they couldn’t hire people to check us in. Of course, the instructions were in French & very unclear even after we translated them. (BTW - I have traveled to approx. 40 countries so foreign languages are not new to me, but this was an unnecessary problem that they created.).
Also, the ad said that they had a BBQ - I assumed that I would be able to cook on it. These days a BBQ means propane. This BBQ required wood or charcoal and matches - would we would have brought IF we were planning to camp in a forest. Then there was no coffee - just tea. Too many other problems to mention. "

"We were visiting relatives in area. Alexandre was very helpful with putting the heat on. He also helped with luggage as the entrance stairs were tricky for 80 year olds. Otherwise, the beds were comfortable, very clean. Shower is small. Area was nice and we would have enjoyed more in the summer. Restaurant next door was closing for the season as we’re leaving. "
