"This was a cool little place. The room is large and comfortable. It is convenient to everything in town. My trip was business and this room was perfect for that."
"The hotel looks old from the outside, but the rooms are renovated, the bathrooms are new, the bed was comfortable, the pillows were soft, the room was clean, and the pool was very clean. I enjoyed spending the afternoon there. My stay was comfortable and pleasant."

"Very cozy and suitable for small family. Everything was clean at check in and the host was very accommodating when we requested a later check out. We would definitely stay here again!"
"My husband, daughter, and I absolutely LOVED the Secluded Casita. It was located in the perfect area, away from town and not too close to neighbors. The river is a very short walk from the house and there is a great deck with stairs to get into the river. The Nueces River was so beautiful and crystal clear. We went at the perfect time because the river was flowing just right so we did a lot of tubing and kayaking. My advice would be to bring some good hard bottom crocs or tennis shoes since the rocks hurt our feet with regular water shoes. The house had all of the kitchen necessities we needed to cook and we used the bbq pit every night on the porch. The bathroom inside the house was very big and cool with the ac in it. We loved having the washer and dryer to wash our wet clothes and towels each night. The entire house was very clean and welcoming. We cannot wait to go back next summer. It was so relaxing and just what we needed for a good family vacation. The host was very helpful and answered all of my questions promptly. Definitely a 5 star review!!!"
