"First things first... this is not a 5-star hotel and we didn't expect it to be. Much like other travelers, a clean and comfortable room is all we seek during our stay. 1. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. 2. The hotel staff was very friendly. 3. The continental breakfast was good, but nothing to brag about - aka... free! I did express some concerns with the desk clerk when we checked out, most of them having to do with basic maintenance, door knobs loose, sink not draining, HVAC unit cover taped on instead of being installed correctly, and finding black mold around the tub area has been covered with another layer of silicone caulk instead of being removed properly. The shower curtain was stained, not sure if this was due to the rusted shower rod or the humidity, and loose water faucet handles. The glass lobby door has a defective closer unit... so the door would slam anytime someone would go through the doors. The rain gutter on the car port was literally hanging off the building (needed a few screws to secure it). Would I stay here again, sure... but I would definitely check the bathrooms for better maintenance."

"A perfect choice for a true Northwoods holiday. The location is private but within easy reach of all amenities, including the best boat-up bar & grill in the area. View is superb. The house itself is a classic log a-frame with loft which worked for our small family but would also be great for a large group, with plenty of beds and well separated areas , including a lower level walk-out fully equipped for games and activities.Speaking of activities: you will want to be on the water and this place is fully equipped with kayaks, canoes, paddleboats and everything you'll need. If you can, rent the pontoon boat, which is perfect for days exploring the lake. We did all our cooking at home (except of course for Friday Fish Fry!) and the kitchen had everything we needed. The house was immaculately clean and fully supplied with everything you'd expect and many surprising small comforts. Our hosts Jesse and Cynthia were welcoming and super responsive. If you have questions or issues you can count on quick answers and seamless resolutions.We loved it. We'll be back."

"We stayed here for Fall Ride weekend and it was close enough to town, yet quiet for winding down after a busy day of riding and partaking in the festivities. The cabin slept 3 adults comfortably. It had everything we needed to enjoy making our own breakfast and dinner. The cabin was clean. Beds were comfy. It was also nice to know the cabin offered a driver to pick us up if we needed it! We weren’t looking for the party scene, so this was a great place to get away, yet still be able to be close to downtown for the music, vendors, and all things motorcycle! We were able to easily park the bikes and SUV in the driveway as well! Overall, a great stay!"
