Loved the property and the staff were wonderful. Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff was fantastic and accommodating. I enjoyed the location and the town of Comporta wasn’t too far and has great shops and more. We drove to endless white sand beaches and loved exploring the area.

Independente Comporta was a truly serene experience. The setting is peaceful and beautifully designed, and the atmosphere invites you to slow down. The staff were kind and attentive, and everything about the space felt thoughtful and well cared for. It’s one of the most memorable places we’ve ever stayed — calm, intentional, and quietly special.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night and it was lovely. Our room was super cozy and the adobe concept was amazing. We also had dinner at the hotel and the food was pretty good! The service was really good and everything ran smoothly from beginning to end! Thank you!

We had such an amazing time staying here! Would rebook again and again. The staff were awesome, food was delicious, room was lovely. Lots of sweet little details that made the stay extra special. The price was unbeatable too!

Great vibes

Lovely place, friendly service, great healthy breakfast, good restaurant. I would advise more efficient E-bikes (which is a lovely idea) and I personally missed a gym for training in addition to yoga. We had a great stay and definitely recommend it

A very relaxing stay. Everything you need is right there. Silas and Gustof were great! Thanks for being so kind to us. A remote location but the beach is close and the rest was amazing!

One of the most service oriented hotels in the region. Beautiful setting with a peaceful but cool vibe. Food was excellent. Staff was very attentive and friendly, and quick to respond to any request or problem (we had a small problem with the AC and they dealt with it immediately). Very comfortable and beautiful rooms. It was a real treat to discover this hotel. We had a superb stay and would definitely go back next time we stay in the Alentejo/Comporta region.

The property is brand new and radiates freshness, welcome, quietness, peace. Everything is well thought of and stylish, the staff is very friendly, motivated and welcoming. The only little remark is that the staff is very young and somewhat inexperienced, so we had a long wait to get our drinks, starter and dinner served. But then again, we were there to relax and enjoy quietness, so what? Keep up the great work!

What started great ended-up being a let down. A day before our arrival someone from the staff called and asked about our arrival time and possible allergies. We told them our arrival time and were looking forward to our staying. Check-in time would have been 15h. We arrived at around 15:45h. The room wasn`t ready. Instead of offering a welcome drink, we were offered to sit next to the pool and wait for our room. We gladly refused and did enjoy ourselves at the beach. The rooms were not very spacious, the bathroom had a bad smell. The rooms are side by side and one could hear what was going on right and left of us. We went out for a nice dinner and returned and thought, let's give this property a second chance. We were thinking of a nice cocktail and asked the staff if this would be possible. Despite the restaurant being half empty at around 22h they said a reservation would be needed and there is none available right now. Never experienced anything like that before. The staff had the great suggestion that we could drive off to a bar. The next bar would just be reachable by car, which might not be the best idea when looking for cocktails. After that wonderful experience we made sure to not spend a single dime on this property. We would not recommend to stay here. We spent some day before in a property that is right across the street and loved it there. Friendly staff, very nice rooms and no sounds from your neighbors.

Nice stay and great room, but definitely more 4 stars than 5! No gym, no heated pool(s) and service could be better. Staff were nice, but we didn’t get any information about the area or available activities. Also the restaurant was closed for 2 nights for private event - which is fine, but then the hotel should do something for their other guests. We had to complain before we got a gesture with free food. Acceptable with 4 stars, but not 5.

Overall a great property and good service. The one issue was we had a room with an adjoining room (separated by a door) and we could hear absolutely everything from the room next door, even whispers. The room next door said the same thing. The hotel should know not to book people in these rooms if they are not the same party.

Beautiful property overall with very poor management. Horrible service all new staff that don’t know anything or look like children. Extremely unprofessional. Also tons of flies around the pool where it becomes not enjoyable to lay our eat at the pool.
