Wonderful beach cottage!

Neat and clean, cute beachy decor, fantastic views. Lots of nice extras supplied by owners (condiments, cleaning and laundry supplies, paper plates, bottled water etc). Very responsive hosts. Highly recommend!

Nice little getaway

Really enjoyed our stay! Right on the water and quiet. Loved sitting out on the deck and relaxing. Anytime we needed something the hosts were right on it! Definitely recommend!

Such a cute little place. Decor and touches within the home show the owners passion to make guests feel special. Not as secluded as I envisioned but was a quiet stay which we appreciated. The owners providing paddle boards and kayaks is such a bonus! It was my favorite part!

Amazing location!!

This place was just awesome. At the end of a street so there was some privacy. Amazing view from the front deck of the Currituck Sound, This was our first time staying here and any time we are in this area again we will be wanting to stay here!

Great Location and Great Hosts

Rented the property for a fishing trip with a few friends. Property was very clean and perfectly fit our needs. Hosts were very responsive and made sure our group had everything we needed. We will be back next year.

The Perfect Spot

This was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The sunrise and sunset are stunning the perfect place for my morning coffee or for us to unwind and fish in the evening. The host was quick to answer any questions or help in anyway. Kitty hawk is only 20mins away making it nice to get away from the crowds and traffic but convenient if you want some beach time.

Quiet & Clean

We had a wonderful stay here and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. Our little ones loved fishing off the dock and hanging out on the porch! The home was very clean and the neighborhood was quiet. Perfect for our family of 5 :)

A relaxing holiday

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The property was beautifully maintained inside, super clean and I loved the decor. We had nearly everything we needed (bar an electric toaster - or perhaps we just couldn't find it!). Dana was incredibly responsive and provided many excellent restaurant and entertainment suggestions.

One of the best vacations ever!

Beach Cottage was easy to find, in a great location and beautifully maintained. Because a tropical storm was due, the owners came down and made sure we were OK. Dana and Matt are two of the nicest people we have ever met and we feel we have just made two new friends.

Relaxing mornings and evenings

The location of the house is perfect for having morning coffee on the deck, enjoying the breeze off the water and watching the sunrise. Evenings on the deck listening to the frogs, enjoying the evening breeze and relaxing from your day. The property owners are very responsive and friendly.

Quaint property

We had a wedding in town. It was a perfect 2 night stay for our family. They had the cottage decorated beautifully. We got to use the paddle boards and kayaks. Matt, the owner, was even around to give a sunset cruise. Thank you for your southern hospitality. God bless you.

Peaceful perfection

Since we were visiting during high season, we wanted a place with great water views, but without the noise of the crowds. This comfortable home delivered!! It is the perfect size for a few people. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet yet we still had easy access to other parts of OBX. We were mesmerized sitting on the deck watching the wildlife during the day and listening to the frogs at night. The home had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves and we really appreciated that linens were provided. Dana, the host, was friendly and responsive. She even checked in to be sure we were enjoying our stay. We would love to come back!!!

Amazing views, newly remodeled.

The place was just as pictured with amazing views from every window. Host was responsive and very accommodating. However, I do want to warn future bookers about the bugs. If you stay in the time we did (July) there were spiders galore inside and out of the unit. We did our best to try to ignore them but if you have someone that is afraid of spiders / bugs please note that they will encounter quite a bit of them anytime outside. We were unable to enjoy the outdoor furniture and spaces due to the bugs and spiders. Also the 2nd bathroom is located outside under the house. It’s a great 2nd bathroom however if you use it at night you will encounter webs/spiders. It’s not the fault of the hosts they were amazing. However we would have booked somewhere else if we knew about the natural surroundings of this place.

This was a fantastic place for our family vacation! The property was very clean and updated with nice interior. We loved it because the lot was located directly on the water with a canal and spot to dock our boat. We went out in our boat and explored the area, went fishing and swimming. There are good restaurants, wineries and the beaches of the outer banks are close by. Enjoyed being on the water here sunrise and sunset. We will be coming back to stay here again!

We loved the location.Right on the water,but very quiet and private. Fuel and groceries were nearby .We loved the outdoor area ,we were even able to use it in the rain . It was large enough and mostly covered. Great place!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage on the Currituck Sound. The setting is peaceful, private, and absolutely beautiful. Every day we enjoyed watching the many shore birds along the water, and each evening brought breathtaking sunsets that painted the sound with incredible colors.The cottage is beautifully furnished, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with everything needed to prepare anything from a quick breakfast to a full dinner, making it feel like a true home away from home.The outdoor spaces were exceptional. The upper deck offers stunning views of the sound and was a great spot for morning coffee and evening beverages. The shaded lounge beneath the deck was equally inviting, staying cool even on hot days. With comfortable seating and a picnic table, it was the perfect place to unwind outdoors.We also loved having access to the kayaks and paddleboards, which made it easy to enjoy the water and explore the sound.The hosts were exceptional. They responded immediately to our questions and quickly resolved a minor electrical issue during our stay. Their kindness, attentiveness, and hospitality were truly outstanding.Between the beautiful home, the stunning waterfront setting, the abundant wildlife, and the loveliest hosts imaginable, it truly exceeded expectations. This quiet, charming getaway has beautiful views, abundant wildlife, and wonderful hosts. We highly recommend it and would gladly return.
