"The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is located within easy walking distance from the Kelpies statues. The receptionist was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable on the local area."

"Check in was great. The hotel is beautiful and great location. But our toilet didn’t work and when I called I was told that the maintenance guy was on holiday. With no resolution offered until I insisted that we really needed a working toilet. Then we were moved to another room and the rest of the stay was great. It was just a bit off putting that it sounded like we were expected to be fine with a non working bathroom"

"Bedroom was very tired and in need of a paint. Shower was awful, bits had been removed from the walls. Whole in the bedroom wall, just all a bit tired and disappointing"

"I was only staying for one night in order to check in for an early flight the following morning, so made limited use of facilities. Within those limits, an overnight stay and one evening meal, everything was very well done, good and attentive service, perfectly clean room, a surprisingly quiet room given the location. The staff printed out boarding passes for me on request."
