"First off, the house is even nicer than in the photos. There are 5 full bathrooms, 3 of which are ensuite to king bedrooms. The water is beautiful and clear and shallow for kids to swim in. Two refrigerators was super helpful. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of towels and pillows. A few little things need fixed around the house but nothing that really impacted the stay. I would suggest getting an outdoor dining table for the deck. The reason for deducting one star for our overall experience is...

"The home was very clean and decorated in an inviting, down-home way. It is charming just like the title indicates. The property is well maintained, including the outdoor spaces. We loved the front porch, as well as the back patio, where we enjoyed playing games under the shade of the tree. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. "Communication was great. Yard should have been mowed or at least kept up. Plus garbage was overflowing from previous renter. It worked well for our weekend at ND. My biggest issue was that the one bath was very small, especially with the options to have a number of people stay. We had 4 adults and it worked but not ideal situation."

"This place was way ‘more house’ than we needed, but so close to parks, the riverwalk, affordable, and walkable to the wedding we were in town for….we couldn’t pass it up! Big old house that had everything we needed for a comfy stay with our dogs. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet and we felt safe and at home."

"We had such a wonderful time! The home is beautiful! Everything from check in to check out was perfect! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed! The owners have thought of everything from the welcome sign to the delicious cookies waiting for us upon our arrival.
