"Check-in was delayed as housekeeping had not been to our room yet, and no, we did not arrive early. The room, a studio villa, was surprisingly small considering the word "villa" was used. The presented photo of the room was, of course, taken with a super wide lens. The shared door with the adjacent unit (which we did not open or use) was not tightly sealed so the occupants next door (family of 4 with 2 young boys) were naturally loud and we shared in their life experience whenever they were in their room. This would have been a fine experience for $100 per night but at the pricing charged."

"This is an older home that’s been partially updated. It was a comfortable stay. Kitchen is minimally stocked for the chefs out there. Host was very responsive. I would recommended a deep clean on the house. "

"We had a Kitchen in theory, as we had no microwave and no pots and pans to use for the stove/oven. The fridge didn't keep things very cold. The wifi was spotty and not particularly reliable as we had to use our cellphone as a hotspot. We had to ask for the password and network. Basically, if you want a basic crash and burn place this is fine. The AC was fine, but there were no trash cans in the room. "

"We stayed at Desert Paradise Retreat during Spring Break. The property was not ready at the 4 PM check-in time; we were able to access it around 7:30 PM. The pool required cleaning before our kids could swim, and some bathroom towels and bedding were not fully prepared at arrival."

"We really enjoyed our stay! The cleanliness, the space, the ease of everything from start to finish was great. We loved the Keurig with the added milk frother. It’s a nice complex that we felt safe in. There is a small pool that I sat by for a while. It seemed well maintained (I didn’t swim, just tanned!) It was really nice to have a garage. We cooked quite a bit. There are a few staples in the pantry/cupboard (oils, seasonings, sugar ) but a grocery store run would definitely be needed for planned meals. The beds we comfortable. Being able to do laundry was such a plus! At the time of this booking, there was a lot of laundry detergent, so you would be all set! The thought and care of this place was really appreciated, highly recommend!"
