"We stayed in May. The location is very convenient to the waterfront and shopping district. Hotel is an older building for sure but functional."

"Location excellent. Staff friendly. Unfortunately the so-called engineering team let the property down. The air conditioning is centrally controlled and the premium room we were in was set at 21 degrees with no input from the room controls. When reported 3 times the next day it finally came good at 4pm, only to be reset at 1am back to freezing again. Another round of visits to the front desk and management and assurances it would be fixed. It was for another few hours and then, bingo, the 1am reset back to freezing air. Stay away. There is a lack of care and only frustration to be had at this property…."

Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront

"Whenever we sail out of Vancouver, we would stay in the Pinnacle. In years past,.. the prices were more affordable, and the hotel provided a limo to take us to the ship. This time, the price seemed significantly higher, and the limo service was no longer provided. The room decor now seems dated. Yes, everything worked. However, the front-desk staff seemed less responsive, and I had to wait too long while the desk clerk took on the role of concierge. The street-level porters seemed rushed and while two in our party were using canes due to mobility issues, no mention of the elevator were made. The restaurant staff was great. Friendly, responsive, and fast. We'll be considering other alternatives if there is a next time."

North Vancouver Hotel

"I needed a hotel for 2 nights near Lion's Gate Hospital. I just needed a clean, safe place to stay. This wasn't a luxury, fun holiday trip. I didn't want to pay $$$$$ for the two nights, and that's basically all I could find, then I found this place. It was the only place near LGH that met my budget. Other Expedia reviews mentioned it was well renovated and very clean. I greatly dislike grubby hotel rooms, and my room was REALLY clean. No grubby marks on door edges, no dirty mirrors, bedside table CLEAN. New desk and dresser/tv stand. New tv (which I never turned on). Very clean bedding. Comfortable bed and pillow. Nice soap, shampoo and lotion. The breakfast was very comprehensive with a lot of choices. No steam tray with hot sausages or omelets, etc, but a really wide variety of cereal, bread for toast, a pancake maker, wide selection of pastries, nice juice and coffee and tea. And enough toasters and toaster ovens that the wait was fine (I went when it was really busy). This property is an older multi-building drive up motel style, and there are outside stairs to access the upper floor. So if you have mobility issues, you'd want to stay on the ground floor. Also, the room was quiet. No traffic noise, but very easy access to both Marine Drive and the Upper Levels highway. I would definitely stay here again if I needed a hotel in North Vancouver on a budget."
