"No frills but quiet, clean, staff very accomodating! We had to change the date but had no issues. They let us park our UHaul in their parking lot overnight. Recommend if you need a room while staying in Sparta."

"We appreciate history and the importance of the General Francis Marion Hotel to the city of Marion. The restoration of the 1927 building was very well done and our room clean, spacious and comfortable, especially the bed was comfortable. The only negative was trying to figure out how to use the two remotes to watch the television. That was a minor issue. "

"This was my second stay at the treehouse cabin and I will most definitely be back again. Everything about it is beautiful and cozy, and there’s just something magical about being there on the mountain. The surrounding mountain property is gorgeous and so much fun to explore. And the nearby town and restaurants were a big plus. Plenty of outdoor things to do nearby as well, but really you don’t even need to leave the property to hike and have a wonderful outdoor experience. The host was extremely kind and very responsive to our every need. I highly, highly recommend staying here."
