"First time in Herdwick Lodge after visiting Meadows End four times now. The lodge was amazing, spotlessly clean with all the essentials needed. Very spacious with 2 double bedrooms both ensuite and a well equipped kitchen. Log burner warms up the place nicely on the chilly evenings. Hot tub in a very private position and can be accessed easily from one of the bedrooms or main door, nice to sit in and stare at the stars. 10/10 Excellent

"Excellent check in staff, but found all staff polite and friendly. Nothing was to much trouble for them. We had a lake view and had been pre informed of the scaffolding outside our window, it did block the view but not too much. Unfortunately the very misty morning put paid to any view but obviously that’s nature. Would definitely return "
