Austrian business trip.

A nice enough hotel in a good location. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room or complementary water, I haven’t seen this in many years. Upon checkout I was told that if I didn’t book directly then I wouldn’t get discounted car parking! I won’t be staying there again.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of Graz

This hotel is wonderfully situated on the river, directly across from the Altstadt. Our balcony room had an amazing view of the city, and the breakfast buffet was simply incredible.

Super summer stay in beautiful Graz. Hotel is close to the city center and the Schlossberg. Shopping, dining, bars all in very walkable distance. And it is by the river which is good for a run. Rooftop sauna with beautiful view. Very friendly and helpful staff. only negative to report is the construction works around the hotel 08/2024.

a good base in Graz

The room was very comfortable and gave a good view over the river into the historic city center. We enjoyed excellent breakfasts and also liked our afternoon cake and coffee in their cafe. The bartender made a particularly excellent " Hugo" spritz. There is a large drop-off space but no onsite parking. A garage is available a block away.

The property was excellent but no car parking on site is a negative. The public car park next door is the only option but at 31.50 euro from 9-24 hours it is a bit rich and im sure the hotel can negotiate a better rate for guests

Pros: The property has some really good characters as an older building, very spacious, we stayed on the 4th floor and the rooms on this part were very good and spacious. The Gym and Sauna facilities are very good for a hotel Gym and the views of Graz City from the rooftop Sauna are pretty awesome. The foyer area is large and spacious and a pretty good place to relax if you didn't fancy being in the room or going out The bar is good with good service though a bit pricey but I would expect nothing less from a hotel bar. Cons: Their are no basic facilities in the room, the water and everything else is chargeable. So I did not go anywhere near the mini fridge. But for a hotel of this standard, water in the room and tea/coffee facilities are just a basic standard. I don't think the hotel has much control over this, but the construction work around the hotel means that people bring in very dirty shoe's into the foyer too and the red welcome carpet at the entrance has seen better days but I am sure they will replace this when all the construction is over. I didn't try the hotel restaurant but I did go to the restaurant next door, on the second Street with same name as the hotel and also sells wine...this place had amazing food so worth trying it So besides these minor gripes, I could not fault my stay and I would happily stay there again when I Graz, maybe I might get a discount next time.🙂

A part une belle reception au rez de chaussée, rien qui ne justifie 4 étoiles. Je n'ai vu que le quatrième étage où se situait ma chambre, mais celui-ci était lugubre faisant penser à un couloir d'hôpital sans parler de la chambre qui n`était pas plus accueillante. Une très grande rénovation est plus que nécessaire pour ce soit disant 4 étoiles. Très cher pour la prestation obtenue. Le seul point positif est la situation proche du centre.

Überraschend war die nicht vorhandene Freundlichkeit, besonders bei der Rezeption, auch die Kellner der Lobby oder Personal beim Frühstück "vergasen" auf ein Grüßen. Zimmer war ok, aber auch nicht mehr. Frühstücksabwicklung war total überfordert, es war ein großer Andrang, aber das so ziemlich alles am Buffet ausgegangen ist, sollte auch in der Stoßzeit einem 4* Hotel nicht passieren.
