"I stayed in an en-suite room which was basic as expected but was homely. The room had a nice large good quality TV. The large shared kitchen was a good size and I liked the kitchen. The location was very good. The owner was welcoming in that he rang me after I checked in to introduce himself and check if I had settled in and provided contact details as needed which I appreciated. A mirror in the bathroom would be helpful. "

"This is not a Hotel, this is basically an AirB&B with escalated prices for a room with shared bathroom and shared also with owner. The owner was nice enough but we paid £97 for night (not worth it) compared to £65 at Ibis hotel in Liverpool (Albert Docks) - air conditioning, own bathroom and much more comfort. This ‘Hotels.com’ need to vet what people are offering. I am actually quite offended by what I was offered and will now use other sites to book ACTUAL hotels! "

"The apartments lovely, perfectly sized and clean. However the windows need replaced, there are gaps around them all which lets on all the noise from outside. I would expect a little bit of noise due to the city centre location but we got woke up so many times from the noise outside. As mentioned by other guests, there is a strong smell of urine in the stairwell."
