"Overpriced. We booked a 2 bedroom chalet on account of our snoring. On check got in slugged an extra $50 more because we were planning on using the second room. No milk for our tea and coffee. Notice on the bench threatening to charge a breakfast tariff if we used any of the breakfast cereals that were in jars in the kitchen cupboards. Gas fireplace in the lounge area didn’t work. Filthy bath towels used as door mats at front and rear door, not a good look. Bath towels in the bathroom were perfectly fine. Pretty disappointing!"

"The property was delightful. We found it quite cold the evening we were there and were very grateful for the log burner. It was a very fleeting visit and it was very good of Erin tom agree to just one night. I had some difficulty on my phone dealing with the VRBO booking (had never used them before) but it was fine on my laptop (technophobe so don't know why!) so my 4 star comment relate to that not the quality of the accommodation. I think we all (4 adults) felt that a few days in the house would have been very relaxing but we were on a very whistlestop tour! Lovely views but mainly dark when we were there! "

"The house was cold but after using the fire, it warmed up quickly and retained the warmth. The property had not been cleaned well and some supplies for the fire were unavailable. Previous guests had used all matches and fire starters but after talking to the owner, this was sorted out very quickly and the owners very very attentive to other issues as they arose. A deep clean was scheduled on our leaving the property, and the owner allowed us to check out late afternoon as a good will gesture. We would happily stay again. "

"We had a lovely stay here. The location is truly spectacular with many options for walking in the National Park. The food was tasty and plentiful, and all staff very friendly and helpful. "

"Our lovely hosts, Brent and Maria, took the time to meet with us in person and show us around their beautiful property. We loved the personal touch! They even left us a basket of goodies on the kitchen bench! Their home was immaculate, very spacious, modern and cosy and the beds were very comfortable."
