If you need a clean comfortable place to stay with no frills then this hotel is perfect. It’s located in a quiet town with stores and a train station within walking distance. Continental breakfast consists of bagels, pancakes, muffins and pastries with fruit and cereal options. Plenty of food to get you started for the day.

The staff never asked me for ID when i checked in. The first room we were given had someone in it already. We went back downstairs to ask for a different room and were told nothing was available and to come back in a few hours. When we finally got a room, I wish we had not stayed. Maintenance has not been done well in this hotel. Ceiling in the bathroom was bulging and looked like the room above was about to fall though. There were water taps to nowhere under the counter, hair in the cracked and stained shower, and the walls are paper thin. The bathroom door had been "repaired" but it wouldn't close or latch. The only positive is that the beds were comfortable.

Cannot beat the price and location! The beds are comfy. In room accommodations and morning breakfast is lacking, but the staff is friendly and helpful. The overall condition of the rooms are okay but definitely could use some updating! Would recommend and stay again.

I stayed in suite,i was disappointed that the toilet was too low especially if your a tall person, need new modern toilet ,also mattress was too hard. If these were upgraded the stay would have been comfortable. The staff is great especially Brian the manager and maintenance etc

The Andrew is my go-to hotel whenever I need to spend time in NYC! Best value, for its price, it's clean, VERY friendly and helpful staff (shoutout to Michael and Melissa in the front desk), conveniently located within walking distance of an LIRR station, parking is available, a modest but satisfying breakfast with all main ingredients needed to start the day. I It is not fancy or luxurious, and does not claim to be. Few details that would need repair in the room such as a loose bathroom doorknob, the shower curtain did not cover the length of the tub and water spills out, room doors slam close loudly, but these are minor aspects in my opinion that does not affect the value that this hotel offer for people like me, who just want a clean, safe, and convenient place in a budget to spend a few nights in NYC.

The Andrew Hotel has one major advantage: the location. It's within easy walking distance of great restaurants, shops, and the train station, making it very convenient for getting around. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was disappointing. The property feels old, outdated, and in need of a major renovation. While the room was simple, it also felt dirty and worn, which made it hard to justify the price. At nearly $500 a night, I expected a much nicer experience. The location is excellent, but the accommodations simply don't match the cost. Unless you're paying a much lower rate and only care about the location, I don't think it's worth the price.

The hotel needs a complete remodeling, it is old and I'm desperate need of fixing. The toilet was best fit for an 8 year old not an adult. The sink was cracked in many places. The bathroom counter top was stained and yellow. For a 330$/ night in suburb, it was a rip off, I had seen good reviews that why I went there, never will do it again. Staff were very nice.
