"I had a very enjoyable stay! The staff was very nice and friendly. We had a last min trip to Bangor for the night and needed a place to stay. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom which made it very enjoyable for our family of 4 and dogs. We will definitely be back when coming back down to Bangor overnight!"

"Wonderful experience! The tent was basic, clean and comfortable. Morning coffee on the deck was a great way to start the day. Loved the outdoor shower with a view of the “Heath”. Lee was informative of Acadia and offered suggestions that made our trip easy and stress free."

"Great cabin. Very clean and tidy. Comfortable inside and out. It has everything you need. Having the canoe and kayaks is a great extra resource for such a beautiful spot on the water. Lovely place to spend some time with the family."

"The cabin was very clean, cozy, and had all the amenities needed for people and pets. Lisa and Colin were most kind, explaining how to get to restaurants, and other enjoyments. The dogs we brough were very happy there, plenty of room to roam. We had dog water bowls, and little treats for them. There were treats for the people also. Fresh water, coffee maker with coffee. The veggie garden was ours for the picking of tomatoes, etc. We would HIGHLY recommend a stop for some peaceful time."

Nicatous Lake Lodge & Cabins - Entire Property!

"We rented the whole place and had a magical week. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating and made everything easy. The place is beautiful, definitely rustic, but that's fine. The water and boats worked perfectly. We camped on islands and had adventures every day. The Kitchen is big and functional. We were a very large group and needed a bit more refrigeration, but I know the hosts are working on that. The caretakers made our stay even better. Food truck is a boon. The vibe of the whole place is very special, lost in time. We are already planning to try to return next year."
