The owners were incredibly helpful, especially when we let them know we wouldn’t be arriving until midnight — they couldn’t have been more accommodating. "We found the Farmhouse retreat to be very clean, modern, private, safe and secure accommodation. The location of property gives easy access to Manchester, the Peak District, Yorkshire, Lancashire and South Wales. We would highly recommend staying in this gorgeous property. The hosts were a very nice couple that made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We would definitely return without hesitation."

"Excellent all round property. Only problem was that the satnav would not work in this area. A clearer description needs to be added as to how to find the property. We had to ask several local people if they knew where the property was. We panicked as it was getting late and darkness was coming in. Not easy in a hilly and remote area. Owner did not answer our calls so was not able to help."

"On arrival the surroundings are stunning, the Stables themselves are beautiful, clean up to date and very comfortable. The owners are lovely and I would highly recommend this cottage I don’t have one bad thing to say about it. The canal and the local pub are a short walk away too."
