"We were in Athens for a few days for a weightlifting competition. We were very happy with out stay at the Divani from the location (close to the Acropolis and the large shopping and dining area to within a 10 minute walk to the Hill—another great area for dining and drinking. This is not a luxury hotel, but it is clean, well maintained, with just the right amount of amenities for the cost per night. We were especially pleased with the service. The staff was incredibly helpful and responsive and every day they delivered boxes of water and cookies! What a treat. And the breakfast buffet was outstanding. It was well laid out, everything was delicious, it was available until 10:30a and the staff, again, were the kindest and most helpful. Lastly, I would be incredibly remiss if I did not mention the rooftop restaurant—the Acropolis Secret Restaurant. It was absolutely outstanding. The food, the view of the Acropolis lit up at night, and the waitstaff were top notch. If you are reading this review, and think you want to dine there, make a reservation pronto. It is well known and loved and it fills up fast. I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to Athens."
