"Space to walk, restaurants, gym and pool. Lovely environment"

"Great new hotel"

"All excellent"

"Location is great, quiet, look straight out onto the lake."

"Great location, beautiful gardens, friendly staff, warm and comfortable room and the in-room treats were appreciated and enjoyed. Would happily stay again."

"The bathroom is stupidly designed"

"Very small room and minuscole bathroom. The kettle was dirty and we had to throw our chamomile away because it was disgusting. Close to the airport and clean."

"Great hotel with nice staff"

"Exceptional. This hotel completely redefines what a five-star experience should be. It makes you rethink all the previous five-star review you've given simply because nothing went wrong. Hulbert house sets the standard, and few others deserve to be in the same category. Staff are always keen to help and would put in a lot of nice touches. "Room was underground, stains on carpet, stains on bed. Probs won't be back."

Parking spot was difficult to park in & get out. Shower temp was scalding no matter how we adjusted handle or how long it ran so couldn’t shower. Living room needs update on furniture & carpet was dirty & coming up in doorway to hall to bathroom. Didn’t feel like...

"Close to town, clean and tidy small room at just 15 sm. Sliding door to the toilet was below expectation in addition to glass separating the shower and toilet from the bedroom."

"Lovely room with view of lake and mountain Restaurant staff very friendly Good breakfast selection"

"We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa. First thing u need to know is the 3rd bedroom downstairs has a single bed. This threw things out for us as our youngest didn't want to sleep downstairs on her own, so our giant teenager had to have a single bed while the younger child had a double bed all to themselves. Knowing the layout would have changed my decision. The downstairs of the villa was freezing, the air con wasn't working properly. How a property doesn't have proper heating in the NZ winter is...

"Great location. MANY amenities that make the stay special."
