"A very good location and a lovely property. You are in the centre of town so expect some noise. The only downside is the parking. I misunderstood the zone map and got a ticket. When I did understand the map I couldn’t find a space anywhere so use the recommended car park across the river which is reasonably priced. Visit was in May half term and the town was busy on a bank holiday weekend so probably why"

"The improvements which could be made to improve the property would be to have a shower, there is only a shower attachment on the bath and with the sloping ceiling it resulted in having to kneel down in the bath to shower, a pain for hubby. There were also a few cracks in the bathroom floor which could do with being fixed as water marks on ceiling below. No washing machine either which with a family would make it very difficult. Rugs in living room really need replacing, I’ve given it 4 stars due...

"Poor communication with Hotels.com. Messages unanswered. Had to ring to get key code as was anxious no contact had been made. Disconnected after trying to get through several times. Location was good. Nice fresh clean bedding. Needs maintenance & TLC. Neglected garden which was a shame as we sat outside a few times so could have been nicer. "The Brunswick is one of the best places we have stayed at and I highly recommend it we had a wonderful time. The hosts Nikki and Eddie were lovely they couldn’t do enough for us. Really lovely people who genuinely cared. And cuddles with their adorable dog Bertie made my day! We had the double panoramic room which had amazing views of the seafront. The room was immaculate and so comfortable. Really nice decor and well stocked with tea/coffee/lovely biscuits/milk and water in the fridge. Good choice of breakfast we had a full English which was absolutely delicious. Really nice dining area. The whole property has lovely decor, it is exceptionally clean and very well maintained. A real personal touch throughout which made it very welcoming. Perfect location opposite seafront - nice and quiet, but still close to everything. I loved our stay at the Brunswick and will definitely book again 😊"
