The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our stay. However, the breakfast options were average and could definitely be improved. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would still highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel very well situated with a nice beach and a great pool. The rooms were clean and spacious. There were a lot of families so we couldn’t just sit and enjoy the view with toddlers running around - but that was me 20 years ago. I would recommend but next time I would want to book the private patio rooms. Continental breakfast was great - all around fantastic stay.

A Beautiful and Peaceful Stay at Sound View Greenport I had a wonderful stay at Sound View Greenport and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway on the North Fork of Long Island. It’s a great place for couples, families, or anyone who simply wants to escape the busy city and enjoy some quiet time by the water. Greenport is also nearby, making it convenient to explore the local restaurants, shops, vineyards, and other attractions. If you’re planning a trip to Greenport or the North Fork, Sound View is definitely a place worth considering. I would happily stay here again! 🌅🌊❤️

The view is amazing. Unfortunately it was a rainy weekend, and not much to do. Breakfast is nice, but for the price of the place, hot food could be offered. Check in is at 4:00, and our room was not available until around 4:40 which was not ideal.

A lot of money for what is a motel sitting on a major road with a popular restaurant. Have to run across the road after parking to avoid traffic. No usable chair in the room. No closet. Great shower. Nice view from the porch. Decent 8am continental breakfast. (I’d prefer coffee at 7…) Staff was helpful. Will we return? No.

Amazing location; pool and nighttime tavern on weeekends are great but beware room accommodations- doors often fail to open the right way (locked out of room), room was fly invested at night. The suites in the second building are well maintained but the standard rooms in first building (100 levels) are sometimes quality of a rundown motel as opposed to what you would expect for the cost of a room here.

The hotel itself and experience was very lovely. There were a few little noticeable things along the way for instance, the bed, pillow, and towels all had small stains. The mirrors in the bathroom were dirty and smudges. The water pressure in the shower was really, really strong where it hurt your skin and all the water would pool up at the bottom. There was no space to put any toiletries in the bathroom anywhere. On the flipside, the room had a lot of different snack, options and drinks there which was very nice. Overall, it was a good experience, but wish there was more thought put into a guest perspective. The lounge chairs at the pool weren’t great either.

The check-in staff were friendly and helpful, finding us a different room when ours wasn’t available. The breakfast was significantly better than a simple continental, offering a variety of items. It is a sprawling complex on the LI sound, with nice views from our room and the dining areas. The restaurant, although a bit pricey, had great service, wonderful views, and excellent quality.

We love the Sound View. As a school social worker, I sometimes REALLY need to reset. There is no better place to do it than here with the most amazing views! We have been coming 3x a year with our pup. Great staff and restaurant! The hotel really tries to accommodate requests, such as a certain room number our dog has gotten used to lol. 10/10 recommend!
