"It's a cabin in the middle of the woods, as long as you read the emails and pay attention there isn't any surprises. Bathrooms are outhouses but there is a communal a cabin with bathrooms showers with hot water staff is around during the day, the cabin are clean and warm, as long as you are responsible with food critters aren't a problem. "Nice place. Good little continental breakfast. **** Only complaint which was out of their control was down below the hill there was some sort of construction or quarrying operation going on, so from about 3-4am on there was a constant loud rumbling sound going on. 15-20 seconds then nothing for a minute then 15-20 seconds again and that repeated all morning through when we left at 7:15am. Weird for a Sunday morning. I didn’t inquire about it because I figured it was out of their hands and just unfortunate. **** We did also find some moose near by. We just drove around at dusk on timber company land and found 3 to watch."

"Super cute and exactly what we needed for traveling with kids and my parents. Reminded me of the camps we stayed as a kid. Very convenient location to town and you can walk right up to the water. Our hosts were quick to answer any questions and very helpful. We loved it!"

"My wife and I rented this property with some friends and we had a wonderful and memorable stay at Sundown on Moosehead Lake! Kim is a very caring host, easy to communicate with, and quick to respond to any questions. The well-maintained property is just what a lake-front log home should be, a great location close to town, yet private and peaceful. Beautiful views from inside and around the house, and down at the waterside deck and dock. The panoramic sunset views were a highlight of the trip! The home is well appointed, the furnishings are high-quality and beds are quite comfortable. We hope to return to this excellent vacation rental and certainly recommend it to others!"

"Wonderful house with everything you need for a visit to Moosehead Lake. Well appointed. Beautiful view and little private area to watch the sky change over the lake. We will definitely return and you will not be disappointed if you rent this house!"

"My family of 5 (2 adults 3 kids) just stayed here for a long weekend. The location of the house couldn’t have been better, directly on the lake with a perfect swimming beach for the kids. The cove is quiet and peaceful. The house itself was great, cozy and well stocked. The stars are amazing at night. We wished we could have used the bonfire but understand the fire risk, maybe next time! Perfect house for a family getaway."
