"If you are looking for somewhere central this apartment is in the very centre of town and the Saturday market. It is not for those less able as there are 3 flights of stairs to the apartment. When you are at the front door the neighbours dog barks. We appreciate there is nothing that can be done about this. "We had a fantastic time with our young toddler. Spacious and well equipped property, nicely furnished and very comfortable. Excellent and well maintained facilities with the highlights being a tennis court and an indoor swimming pool! Beautiful and peaceful location, surrounded by fields and countryside. "Our room was beamed and the superking sized bed was comfortable. There was a very thick duvet - a bit too hot for the weather - but an excellent fan was already in the room. Evening meal was good and a nice atmosphere in the bar and dining area. The waiter Connor was very attentive. Gluten free options are available but double check when ordering just to be sure!! Breakfast was self serve in a rustic kitchen . No GF options . All in all , a good one night stopover and a good price. Would go again."

"Nice independent run hotel at about the level of a Holiday Inn. Rooms are an adequate size for two to share. Some of the exterior is it showing its age around the back facing on to the sports facilities which are apparently not maintained to a level to currently in use. Restaurant evening menu and bar have a wide selection of options, and the morning breakfast buffet has a good wide selection. There is also a range of good restaurants and pubs within a short distance if you don't want to use the on-site offering. Would I stay again? Yes."
