"My family of 12 stayed at the Old Sugar House from April 2-7. The house is soooo beautiful, clean and spacious. The pictures do not do it justice at all. The garden and views are breathtaking. Short drive to beautiful beaches. It was so easy communicating with Sue,she was always quick to reply, very pleasant, patient with my many questions and made some great suggestions in preparation for our arrival. The staff is an added bonus that made our vacation a true vacation. They are all so lovely. We did not have to lift a finger. Bibi made sure the house was spotlessly clean, beds made, laundry done. Terry is a fabulous chef who prepared meals with love and catered to those with various food allergies. Wendell made the best rum punch and was available for anything we needed. Thank you Old Sugar House for the memories our family will never forget!! We will be back for sure!!"

"We loved the property and it is our second time visiting. The building and grounds are very well kept. We used the pool and beach every day and they had plenty of amenities for us. Absolutely love the weight staff and the food in the restaurant. The unit that we stayed in gave us shampoo, conditioner, soap, but it was only meant for For the first few days. If we were staying for a month I would understand this but when you're going for one week I think they should provide those items. That would be my only negative the laundry on site was an absolute must and we love the flow of the townhouse. Great gym! Walking distance to town and restaurants. We will be back!!"

"The best part of this property is definitely the outdoor space! Nicely furnished inside and out. There was poor communication with Andreas so some things need attention, specifically, the microwave that stopped working during our stay. Not the best dishwasher. The kitchen was void all spices except s&p. The bathrooms are not supplied with shampoo or soap so bring your own. The beds are very firm so great if that’s what you like. The grounds are well cared for. "

"This was our second time staying here. We love the location and the amenities provided. Paul and Gabriel are both so helpful and accommodating. The upstairs apartment is clean and bright, and with so many windows in all the rooms, the cross breeze keeps it cool at night. Loved waking up to coffee on the small deck, and watching the birds and monkeys, even the chickens. We had a car, so getting around was no problem, but it is walkable to a beautiful beach, restaurants and groceries. God willing, we will be back again. We have been to Barbados many times, but this is our favorite place to stay. A local neighbourhood with friendly people. Feels very safe, and we couldn’t be happier with the apartment."

"Nous avons séjourné dans cette propriété spacieuse et confortable et, dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison.Véritable coup de cœur pour la terrasse extérieure couverte à l’arrière de la propriété et pour la végétation mature, qui crée une intimité remarquable en dissimulant complètement les propriétés voisines. Nous avons eu la chance d’observer des singes verts venir manger des mangues sur le terrain. De l’autre côté de la rue, un terrain vacant avec un immense arbre leur sert également d’abri naturel — un décor à la fois paisible et dépaysant.L’emplacement est idéal :•Plage de Heywoods à environ 8 minutes de marche•Village à environ 10 à 15 minutes à pied, parfait pour une marche matinaleLe quartier est extrêmement tranquille, sécuritaire et idéal pour les promenades.À noter pour les voyageurs avec voiture :La pente pour accéder au stationnement est assez prononcée, ce qui peut faire frotter le dessous d’un véhicule standard. Aucun souci avec un 4x4. Il est donc préférable de stationner dans la rue. Cela ne pose toutefois aucun problème, puisque la rue est un cul-de-sac avec toujours de l’espace disponible juste devant la propriété.En résumé, cette propriété a été un véritable coup de cœur. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter et la recommandons à 100 %. Bon séjour et bonne continuation au propriétaire !"
