Very nice and peaceful place, highly recommended to stay when you’re in Dolomite area.

Our stay at the hotel was fantastic! The location near the gondola couldn’t be beat! We were able to set off on several hikes right from the hotel. We loved coming back to our beautiful home base every day. The breakfast was great and the family who runs the hotel was wonderful. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Room was nice. We were given a card that gave us free activities in the area that was an excellent surprise. We used the card to ride the hop on bus to tour Innsbruck.. we didn't have time for the cable car. Everything was excellent and the staff was friendly and kind.

Fantastic spa, excellent food, prime location.

My only complaint was that there was not a mini refrigerator in the room. I had bought some expensive cheese in Rome and was unable to keep it due to this. Wonderful staff and I like that they hire mentally challenged people to help with the kitchen.

Nice hotel with great local decor and feel. Very clean hotel and rooms. Great view of the mountains from the balconies. Nice restaurant with great food and especially great breakfast. Staff very friendly and efficient.

The Parkhotel Matrei has some of the most attentive and friendly staff I’ve met. The hotel gave off “home” feelings and not commercial hotel. The convenience of a front parking lot, gas station & grocery nearby was great and the rooms were perfect size for me and my many bags, as well as a space for me to get my work done. I was also given a holiday gift bag because they knew I’d be alone for the holiday. Just a great place, words don’t do them justice. Definitely will be returning some day!

This is a great property. The apartment had everything we needed to cook and eat a meal. It was modern with a new bathroom. Beds were very comfortable and room was spotless…very clean. We were in Innsbruck to see the Gundolf Family Tyrollean music Show. It was a 7 min walk from apartment and a six min drive fro historic center so it’s very convient Just be prepared as the desk is not always manned. Make sure you have entry code sent to you in advance and arrange for parking if required.

Best hotel of out entire trip #1

We stayed at Sachsenklemme for just one night to break up the trip from southern Germany to Venice. It's a great place for both parent end children. The hotel is situated very close to the main highway. The kids got to run rand in the playground and had fun with the zip wire and tramopoline. The grown ups enjoyed the beer garden and the great food. The hotel is surrounded by high mountains. The only drawback is the constant noise from the highway.

Great one night stay, very cute little town

Innsbruck is a great place, with beautiful views of snowy mountains around the city. The hotel is place situated such that you get the view of beautiful mountains from your room. Enjoyed the stay
