"Enjoyed this resort. Felt the dining options were overpriced and were not worth the money. Had to switch rooms due to a broken AC unit however, staff was amazing and attentive and the room switch process was quick and easy. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Matlacha on Shoreview! Tucked away and wonderfully quiet, it felt like a true off-the-beaten-path retreat. The staff went above and beyond—so friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home.
We especially enjoyed the complimentary kayaks for exploring the water and really appreciated having laundry facilities available during our stay. A special highlight was the Memorial Day reception with delicious snacks and beverages—it was such a thoughtful touch that made the holiday feel extra special.
This place is a hidden gem, and we can’t wait to come back!"

"What a wonderful time we had staying at this house. They had everything you could think of. The whole house has been updated. The pool was perfect and enjoyed all of the outdoor seating. We all agreed that we could stay here again. There were plenty of pool toys and beach supplies. The only thing needed is more outdoor lighting around the pool. Once the sun went down, it was mostly dark. We had such a fun and relaxing time here. Thank you for making the house so enjoyable!"
