Skye is a lovely island and this was a terrific place to visit from although trips out on the Island do need time so you can take your time driving the single track roads with cars and sheep :) we found ourselves wanting to spend more time at the house than out as it was so lovely. "We stayed for 2 weeks, whilst the rest of the country had a heat wave, we had a couple of nice days and the rest was misty and windy. However, the house exceeded our expectations being warm, comfortable and had everything you could need - really high quality furnishings etc. Fantastic views from the house and the patio area and walks from the doorstep. If you like beach walking (cant describe how beautiful they are) and wild life (otters, deer, seals etc) then this is an excellent choice, we love bird watching and couldn't have hoped to see more. We've stayed in the Outer Hebrides many times, but this is the best house we have stayed in."
