"This a good wee cottage on South Uist, completely free of hustle and bustle and street lights. All amenities apart from shops were closed due to you know what! The view from the lounge is as good as you'll get, looking over to Barra. South UIst has big skies and big seas and a great viewpoint is a parking space just before you go down to the ferry for Barra on Eriskay. We saw Golden Eagles at that spot. "The Property was simple to find. Cottage was in a good location for travel around the island, also handy for the shop and petrol pumps. For bird watchers, it is right beside the Machair and we saw loads including the corn crake. The cottage was well equipped, though we had to look for the instructions for the hob. We didn’t use the wood burner but we did use the bench outside to the rear. We would stay here again"
