It’s a tiny town on the edge of Yosemite. The people are friendly, and they sport the oldest operating bar in the state.






The staff was excellent and the stay was great as well. There were plenty of fun family friendly activities.

First time in a yurt. It was great, property secluded. The amenities seemed nice though we did not get to use them. Staff accomidated a late arrival.

We had an amazing time! The home was clean snd comfortable. The location is amazing. Close enough to town to have dinner, but peaceful at the house. Easy distance to all in Yosemite. Coffee each morning on the deck listening to the birds. It wsd also great to be able to walk to the lake. Megan was ...

So glad Evergreen was saved from the fire of 2013 otherwise we never would have been able to experience this truly unique property. It’s hard to get to but worth the drive.
So devastating to see the aftermath from the fire. And of course no snow in February
Loved rush creek lodge, and valley view. Rim of the world was also lovely at sunset! There aren’t many dining options at Groveland though...
- NO restaurant/bar onsite as advertised in the off-season (Nov-May), so fill up at restaurant(s) / grocery store in Groveland (11 mls away), or Rush Creek Lodge / Yosemite Village - Pool/hot tub closed in winter
The iron door is a true treasure.
