"The room was ok. Air conditioner worked well. The bathroom needs upgrading and there was no hot water for showering. I contacted them and was told they were sending someone to fix it and it wasn’t fixed. I left a day early and had to book a hotel elsewhere because I just couldn’t take having to shower in cold water for another day. I contacted them again and asked for compensation and they offered me a discount for my next reservation with them; as if after this experience I would want to...

Four Points by Sheraton Caguas Real Hotel & Casino

10/10 Excellent

"Buen servicio y limpieza"

OCEAN VIEW VILLA WITH PRIVATE POOL ,STEPS FROM SECLUDED BEACH, GATED COMMUNITY!

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely stunning home and an amazing location. We traveled here as a family with grown adult children and had absolutely wonderful day. The house is just like the photos if not even better there was a starfruit tree in the backyard and the fruit was delicious. The air-conditioning worked great and the screens really helped in the kitchen area with fans to keep the mosquitoes away. The only thing I would say is the check-in code to get through the gate and the contact information is wrong. The host said they sent instructions separately, but I did not receive them and they did not check in with me through the app to make sure I received them and unfortunately the phone number on the app did not work. When we arrived at around 9 PM at night, we could not get through the gate. Fortunately, the person that was on the phone number on the Vrbo app. Instructions did answer and we eventually were able to get through. So I would just say simply be sure that you have your accurate check-in instructions and check in with the host and hopefully they will update their phone number on the appThere was a scheduled maintenance with electricity, and the whole neighborhood had no electricity for the day. The house has a really great generator unfortunately it does trip easily and so I would also make sure the host tells you how to get the generator running again because that’s very simple, but unfortunately, we had to wait quite a while for the maid to come and show us how to get it goin"

Casa Boni Guest House, Vista única al lago de Carite.

10/10 Excellent

"Casa Boni was so peaceful and came with a beautiful view! The sounds of the Coquis at night were so calming and helped put our family to sleep - and the roosters in the morning were like clockwork and sounded much better than an alarm clock LOL! The access to the lake was a wonderful 5-minute walk leading to another amazing view. The neighbors were so friendly and so were their pups Poncho and Pancha (Pancha greeted us every morning and evening, so sweet!). Our host was so kind and was able to be reached with no issues and check-in was so simple! The only downside I would say was that there is no dryer, so you’ll need to be creative and timely when planning your clothes washing to give them time to air dry - but watch out, the rain sometimes sneaks through and gives a short, but beautiful downpour here and there, so watch if your clothes are out! :). Overall our family enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back!"

OCEAN VIEW VILLA WITH PRIVATE POOL, STEPS FROM SECLUDED BEACH, GATED COMMUNITY!

10/10 Excellent

"probably the best vacation my family and i have ever taken and a big part of it was this beautiful property. We fell in love with the views, the space and the location ! Elizabeth was very helpful and prompt with any questions we had. Definitely will be back ! The gated community made it feel safe and secluded. Washer and dryer were a huge plus."

Caribbean Beach Front Gem 1&2, Family Vacation Compound

8/10 Good

"First, I feel bad about not leaving a great review because the owner and property manager were great and very responsive (clogged sink was fixed quickly). And, despite the negatives that follow, IT'S PROBABLY STILL A BARGAIN! But I have to say that the place needs a lot of maintenance and updating.Positives: Right on the water (though you can't swim right there), individual A/C controls, nice views, few bugs, nice little pool. Lots of space. It was generally clean.Negatives:First, there's signage that you can't flush toilet paper down the toilets. It's kinda gross, especially without a lidded can for poopy paper. It's also hard to remember, and hard to execute for big people (I am 6' 3").Second, notice that WiFi is not listed as an amenity. There is actually no WiFi. Third, the fence around the property does NOTHING to keep out the many stray dogs. I like dogs, but not feral dogs. One of our party was very afraid of dogs and needed to be escorted between the 2 houses. Stray dogs were the one downside to this neighborhood.Other negatives in no particular order: Kitchen cabinets need a lot of work. No beach chairs (not in amenities). No kayak, canoe, or water gear mentioned under amenities. No hot pads. Inoperable deadbolt (though neighborhood seemed very safe). Inoperable windows, and one broken. Rust & corrosion lots of places. An inoperable bidet. Stairs to beach overgrown. Dirty windows. No functional blinds and some bedroom curtains were almost transparent."
